When the Following Unfollows the Followed

“Bye now lady. Thanks for the fun, deep and silly conversations. Have fun out there.” Photo from http://www.skmecca.com

“Recognize that there are people who need a fresh start, and sometimes it means that it doesn’t include you in the new journey they decided to take.

Don’t resent them for it. The feeling kinda sucks, although most of the time they don’t mean to hurt you intentionally. They need you out of it so that they can figure out what they want by trying something new, minus you in the equation.

It’s necessary for them to grow.

And if they come back to tell you how their journey was without you, great. If not, just be happy for yourself and for them and hope that they found something new that will make them happy and contented.

And keep in mind that they’re just doing their responsibilities to themselves by taking care of their needs and broadening their perspectives in life by subjecting themselves to variety so that they know where they fit best.

The great news is, this applies to you as well.”

This thought came when I found out that a few lady then-followers of my blog whom I have great conversations with, unfollowed. I will definitely miss both the witty and nonsense conversations. They brought a smile on my face back then. They still do, and they always will…

my same exact questions actually. you can only “force” someone (blog follower, friend, lover) to a certain extent to stay. but in the end their choice will prevail and that you can do nothing about it. it’s their freewill and I aint messing with it. so those who chose to stay are the real people to be cherished and thankful for because not everyone will choose to stay…
