Why Does It Hurt to Be an Introvert (And Why You May Be Doing It Wrong!)

Realizing that you’re an introvert ought to make you happy and contented, not suicidal nor incomplete!

  1. Introversion is not an excuse for not pushing yourself when you feel you must expand.
  2. It’s not a license you can use to restrict yourself into something smaller than what you are capable of becoming.
  3. However, it can become a coffin, and you becoming a permanent resident of it if you allow it to.
  4. It should not be an excuse not to connect with someone, especially if it is someone you love or if it’s about your crush (for heaven’s sake!)
  5. It’s nice that you always think before you speak but for your goodness sake, speak your mind automatically at times. It’s liberating. Other people may think you’re stupid anyway whether you zip your lips or you blurt something out.
  6. When you already figured that you’re an introvert and you still feel lonely as hell, stop “being” an introvert. Go out, engage with people, and preoccupy yourself with everything you want but isolation. Until you prove yourself, through experience that you really are an introvert, then you really are an introvert.
  7. It’s a good thing to note that introversion is like the best wife/husband you can have. You can explore things all you want, she/he won’t complain. She/He will just wait for you until you finally decide you want to go home.
  8. Realizing that you’re an introvert ought to make you happy and contented, not suicidal nor incomplete!

Author: The Romantic Alpha

Aside from physical and intellectual strength, a man is also given a heart to feel and share love and value. Dive into the mind of the alpha, feel his heart beat, and let me carry you with my strong yet gentle hands. I'm continuously innovating myself to be a better man, husband, father, friend, and structural engineer. Love's not overrated. The world needs the true essence of which.

  1. haha lols…. That’s true, just because I’m not a talkative person, they think I’m stupid. Poor introverts, they don’t fit in the standards that extroverts have created. Only introverts know how it feels like to be one. I hope you are not disgusted with our kinds.

    1. Hi Shayn

Never because I’m definitely one us!

It’s just that I feel I’ve been limited for too long by being introverted. Making new friends and forging new relationships are these things among others. I’m on the process of experimentation actually and I want to see how this goes. Maybe i can call this “expanding one’s self” I don’t know. I just don’t want to live the rest of my life in deep regret, not for the things I’ve done but for the things I didn’t do…
